Christmas celebrations at my home

This Christmas was celebrated very simple but gone superb at my home. Since i came back to Bangalore from my home town on 23rd December, no time left in hand to decorate or paint home. So just did basic decoration taking help of my close friends Purushotham (Pilli) and Vasanth (Chetty) :)


On the Christmas day waken up by 8am got ready been to church and came back to office by 12pm...since the celebrations was already going at office i just joined them..Even though i been to office i left to home by 4pm...I had planned for a dinner treat to few of friends in the evening. Been to home and my friends Chan Basha, Purushotham, Muralidhar, Vasanth, Chiranjeevi joined me along to help my Mom in kitchen to prepare the dinner.


Finally the arrangements are done by 6pm and then slowly my friends and neighbors started to visit our home and finally ended up by 11pm.


Surprise is that my very old friend Yellappa came to our home with his wife and newly born kid.... My Dad & Mum taken care of the kid playing with her and we all did chit-chat for a while. Even though we planned for a small celebration it became big and given so much happiness to all of us in spending that evening with all my friends and well wishers.


The happiest part of this celebration is my Grand mother came from my home town to join us in this celebration :) which was a memorable moment for all our family members...

Christmas celebrations at our office

By the way i forgot to mention to you all that we had a great bash in our company on the Christmas occasion. We celebrated this auspicious day like never we did. All the kudos goes to our Operations Manager", who arranged the celebration at our office. Had cake cutting, Christmas tree, Christmas caps for all the team etc etc. Here are the pics for your eye feast...........

 

Life from a "Labour" to "Manager"

After coming to Bangalore in Sep 2001,my studies got discontinued and i started to work in various fields.

At first i worked at some STD Booth for an year and half,you know ! my salary was Rs.700/- per month which again raised to Rs.800/- after 6 months from my date of joining.

Secondly worked at Sai food marketing franchisee of TTK foods which related to some kind of packed chips and chats(called as Junk foods). Here worked again for an year and half for Rs.1200/- per month.

Almost it's 3 years in Bangalore now,even i grown up and adjusted with the atmosphere here. So started to search my career,but at no use again joined at some company called Hydroline products pvt ltd as vaccum operator,now the pay was Rs.3500/- month.

Started to change track from the mass work as i have some interest in Marketing.

Through one of my friend i got into Deccan Herald into Canvassing team where it's related to Marketing.The Job timings are 5am -10am(kind of 4-5 hours)and the pay was Rs. 3,800/- After 10am i joined some other work at Cease fire industries as Installation staff of their products.
Now I am earning double. This ended shortly with in 6 months as i fell sick of working for long hours(5am-12/1 am).

now as per my borther's request I joined some direct marketing company called Consumer world,which then working for 6 months found was a Bogus company kills your time and future.

Now i was really confused about my choice of jobs and stayed at home for more than 3 months and one fine day I got offer from DTDC couriers (CITIBANK-cell) to work as Delivery Executive for the salary of Rs.2500/- where it reached to Rs.4000/- with in 1 year because of my performance.

I joined there in 2006 and worked for 2 years where i got good staff,good boss who was also good friend of mine.I really enjoyed the days there.

Now working at DTDC in morning i had joined to Domino's as part timer on 06/05/07 and then it became full time after few months. Now it's about job at Domino's.

I had joined as Team member and got promoted back to back shortly.when i quit the job in 25/06/2008 at Domino's I was in Gold Level and was handling the whole shift. Then in September 2009 i resigned job at Dominos due to some of my personal problems.

At present I am working for HungryZone.Com part of Achindra online Marketing. I got the offer letter on October 1st 2008 and joined on the same date.Working as Customer Support Associate. it giving me whole world of satisfaction where i was been into Marketing and as well handling call center.

Golden days in my LIFE

It was a great surprise for me once i came back to my work. The high end team were in discussions on my promotion. I know that i am going to promote but never ever expected such a huge post which would carry crucial responsibilities of the company.


I expected that i may get promoted as "Relationship Manager" from the level "Business Development Manager" which currently was. But as mentioned it was a great surprise which i can't express in words is i got promoted as "Assistant Sales Manager" for Bangalore zone.


After all the meetings, finally on 30th December 2010 evening, my Operations Manager and Marketing Head sat with me for a meeting and announced the promotion, which includes a very good package. All of sudden the meeting finished i rushed to home and informed it to my Mum & Dad. You all cannot believe how they got surprised, they were almost flying in cloud 9 :). It just not stopped there, Dad bought sweets, cakes and almost we celebrated the New Year just couple of days before itself. From there again my Dad didnt kept quiet he called up all my sisters, brother-in-laws and informed about this. Even they expressed their happiness over the phone itself.


All this credit goes to my friend, well wisher, key person of company whom i cannot mention the name here (he is a big guy now and so i cant do that).


Informed all my close friends, relatives about my promotion and even they were all felt happy and wished me a lot.


You may all can feel that, why the hell i am creating so much of scene just for a promotion. But here is the reason, the people who completed some PG and with very good qualifications are only can get promoted for such a kind of role. But i am being a High school pass out - Now you all can come to know why i am so excited :)


Once again thanks to all my friends, well wishers, people in my company for helping me, motivating me to reach this level. Especially one of my colleague who just joined our company recently but was a very good friend of mine is the person to whom i should say a loads and loads of thanks.....If he haven't motivated me i may have left the company couple of months back itself.


Thats what there is a proverb in kannada "Thaaliyonu baaliyaanu" :)

Time for Exams....B.com 2nd year

Exams started from 06th Dec 2010. Been to college collected Hall ticket and then been to the exam center. Attended exam and came out from room by 5pm. Met all my friends whom i was lastly met in Dec'09. Had discussion, chit chat and then moved to home. Exams was scheduled from 06 Dec 2010 to 19th Dec 2010. Timings was from 2pm to 5pm. Every day i use to go to college by my bike from my sisters house, which was around 38 kms one side journey. Since i love biking it haven't given pain of riding so many kilometers everyday.


When ever i get some time, i use spend it in my farm cleaning it, where we recently purchased an acre of land in our home town. It was a memorable days for me, where as i never tried to be part of agricultural activities. Planted around 10+ coconut plants as a fence in our farm. With this i felt to settle down there it self by doing agriculture :)


Finally by 9th Dec 2010 when my exams got completed and i was thinking to come back to Bangalore, all of sudden my dad came to my home town for some of his personal work. So we completed that too and returned back on Wednesday,i.e,23rd Dec 2010.


Since it was a long ride, my dad couldn't able to come along with me and so he came by bus. Where as i again came by bike,but this time alone. Reached Bangalore by 5pm exactly and then had some kind of chit chat with my mum since i didnt see her for last 20 days, even though i was talking to her on phone everyday.


Then next day morning 24th Dec 2010i came office wished every one and then got busy with my regular office activities............

My Dear Friends & Well wishers........


I am sorry for not posting till these days. 26 Nov' 2010 was my last posting on this page. I left to my home town on 4th Dec'10 to give my B.Com 2nd year exams and so was working hard at my office to complete my tasks before i go on leave. Even though i haven't did much work in the time Spam but still tried to put my efforts. Since the new year was nearing me with my other colleague was in discussion with our partners in selling the New Year Bash tickets online through our channel.


Finally i moved to my home town on 4th Dec'10 on my bike along with my friend purushotham with me. Dropped him in Chittoor and then i reached my sisters house by 4pm. Since i got tired by driving all the 240+ Kms, had food and took rest.


I will give the rest of the details of what i did at my home town for the whole month that i was on vacation :)
